A project bag to have yarn, knitting needles, markers and what you may now need for your knitting project. Colored with peel and seeds of avocado. Funny enough, this green fruit gives clear pink tones to the fabric. After waxing, the bag becomes darker, goes more in the brown direction, but with the pink color at the bottom, so to speak.
The bag is small and flexible when closed. If you unbutton the buttons, it opens up, a bit like an accordion (without sound) and makes it easy to access, pick in and out of things.
The fabric is waxed with a mixture of beeswax and stearin. It seals and secures the bag, but note that the wax melts at just over 50 degrees. It does not run off the fabric, but things you have in your bag can soak it up. So do not leave the bag in a hot car, on an element, in the sauna, the oven and so on.
I have tried to capture the color as best I could in the picture, but remember that the colors vary with light conditions and from bag to bag. The full picture from the front shows the color in the title.
