The large bag is by no means gigantic, but still very roomy. Holds, for example, a reasonably large laptop, some binders and books, a thermos, change of clothes and an what you happened to shop after work. Or something else, who am I to tell you what to pack.
This variant has a fold over lid to protect the inside from the elements. The beauty of lids is that, if the manufacturer wishes, they can accommodate a pocket, and in this particular case, that is the case, making the bag the organizing humans best friend. Or it helps the unorganized to get their act together.
In terms of material, everything is as usual, i.e. plant-dyed hemp fabric, waxed with beeswax and stearin. The leather is vegetable tanned by the Swedish Tärnsjö tannery and the slightly thinner skin comes from free-roaming Nordic reindeer.
The fabric is, as I wrote, waxed with a mixture of beeswax and stearin. It seals and secures the bag but note that the wax melts at just over 50 degrees. It doesn't run from the fabric, but things you have in your bag can soak it up. So don't leave the bag in a hot car, on a radiator, in the sauna, the oven and so on.
The full image from the front shows the color in the title. I have tried to capture the color as best I could in the picture, but remember that the colors change with the lighting conditions and from bag to bag.
